Dance & Video Star Criscilla Crossland-Anderson joins {r}elevé one!

Attention dancers!  We have some exciting news to share with you…

International dance, video, TV and film star, Criscilla Crossland-Anderson is coming to {r}elevé one dance studios, and she’s not coming alone!

Criscilla, whose dancing credits including the stages and videos of Britney Spears, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, P. Diddy and more is bringing a crew of some of today’s hottest dance instructors and choreographers with her as we launch our new dance program this September.

Criscilla 2With beginner, intermediate and advanced level master classes, Criscilla and her well-known friends, along with our very own Mary Bond, will offer a wide range of styles, routines, techniques and stage performance classes designed to help each dancer stand out in a crowd.

Multiple classes will be offered Monday through Thursday nights and on Saturdays.  Individual drop in rates, class packages and unlimited plans will be available, allowing dancers to experience all of our new incredible instructors during the time that works best for them each week.

Classes will start this September!

Hey Ya’ll!!!

Just a few updates that we would like to share…

  • Thursdays 12P tap n’ pow{h}er with Amy will move to 11:15A, effective: Thursday, May 21st and YES!! Youth Services will be available!!
  • We are thrilled to announce that we now offer Youth Services on Tuesdays and Thursdays!! We hope you’ll bring your kiddos often this summer so we can see their smiling faces!!
  • Speaking of kiddos….Our intention is to hold two new classes this summer (in addition to our summer dance program)

tap n’ pow{h}er YOUTH (ages 5-11)- Saturdays at 9:45A

tap n’ pow{h}er TEEN- Wednesdays(ages 12-19) at 9:45

 Each class will be a 4 week fun, form-focused, meaningful movement and age appropriate series with the last week focusing on personal development (goal setting/positive affirmations) for our youth. We are looking at beginning this series the Week of July 6th! 

This is a program we have wanted to launch since the conception of our tap n’ pow{h}er model and we can’t wait to reach our youth with the positive messages and movement that IS tap n’ pow{h}er!! Kids Summer Dance Camp Now Open!

KIDS SUMMER DANCE CAMP REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

Keep your children active and entertained this summer with our
Kids Summer Dance Camp!

Instead of focusing on the technical skills of dance, this summer we’ve decided to have some extra FUN with the kiddos.

Our summer dance classes will combine all styles of dance including jazz, hip-hop, ballet, contemporary and freestyle and will encourage each child to discover his/her own personal rhythm while engaging in a fun and creative environment centered around music and dance.

No long routines or complicated choreography to learn!
We’ll get down to the real fundamentals of dance- you know, like the Chicken Dance,
YMCA and the Macarena.
(You all remember the Macarena, right?)

Classes will be open to boys and girls with a mixture of ages and skill levels and will be offered during our evening fitness classes so you can get your workout in while your child dances- or drop them off and enjoy an hour to relax or get those errands done.

CLASS DETAILS:
We will be offering two separate 4-week sessions.
Sign up for 1 session or for both. (No mixing of sessions.)
Pick the day and time that you want to come each week.
Choose to come 1 or 2 times per week.

SESSION 1:
June 8 – July 2

SESSION 2:
July 13 – August 6

CLASS SCHEDULE:
Pick one (or two) days/times below to meet each week:

Monday:
4:30pm – 5:30pm (Ages 3-6)
5:45pm – 6:45pm (Ages 5-10)

(Have a child older than 10 who is interested in summer dance? Email us at info@releveone.com – if we have enough older kids who want to attend we’ll add additional classes!)

TUITION & FEES:

Free registration if you sign up before May 15th!
Use PROMO CODE: FREE DANCE when you checkout after filling out our registration form!

Registration fee: $15 (only one fee for the entire family) – FREE before May 15

1 class/week: $55 for the entire session (4 classes total)
2 classes/week: $85 for the entire session (8 classes total)

Save $10 per session on each additional child!

PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
Registration fee: due immediately upon submission
Session 1 – due by June 1st
Session 2 – due by July 6th

PLEASE NOTE:

  • No refunds or pro-rated amounts will be given for missed or unused classes, including travel or vacations.
  • If you miss a class, you may request to attend a make-up class on a different day within your same session.
  • Make-up classes must be pre-approved and will be based on availability – there are no guarantees but we will do our best!
  • We must have at least 5 kids signed up for each class in order to offer it. If your class does not reach the minimum number of kids registered we will offer to transfer your child to another class or offer you a full refund if that day/time does not work. (This is the only time a refund will be given.)

A Glowing and Shining Sisterhood…

This October a few of my Glowing Goddesses and I got together with my amazingly talented sister, Ali Kletecka, of Grove Aesthetic Photography for a photo shoot in Leipers Fork, Tennessee. Since the beginning of my fitness journey, I’ve had the honor of working with several photographers, all uniquely gifted! I’m always honored to be a photographers subject and love shooting in unpredictable locations! My sister, Ali Kletecka, is a self-taught photographer that has an impeccable creative eye and passion for her craft. We have worked together several times over the years. Many of you may have seen my photo on the railroad tracks…that was Ali’s genius vision! Our latest adventure was by far my favorite…not only did I get to work with my sister Ali again…I got to pose with and cheer on my beautiful fitness friends/lifetime soul sisters: Jen Ashcraft, Danielle Whitener, and Tara Winterhalter as well!! Five strong women…all talented…No DRAMA!!! TONS of Love, Light, Positivity, Joy, and Badass-ness!

Welcoming Miss Mary!!!!

We are SO excited to welcome a new shining star to our growing family of teachers at {r}elevé one fitness and dance studios!! Miss Mary Bond recently joined Miss Tara as a leaders in our new dance program! Mary has such a beautiful heart and we love the joy and light that she brings to our studio each time she chooses to practice for herself or to lead our littles with love!!

Please join us in welcoming our Mary to our staff when you see her at the studio!! We are so honored to have her expertise and talent touching the lives of our dancers!!

A Note From Mary!!!! 

I started dancing at the age of 6 at Lisa Hull’s School of Dance in Columbia, TN. I studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and Pointe. After several years of training under Miss Lisa, I had the privilege of joining the competition team. I competed regionally and nationally for 5 years. I have won top scores and awards for my performances in both tap and jazz. Eventually I became a student assistant where I helped teach classes. It was then that I fell in love with teaching and helping children discover their ability, confidence and love for the beautiful art of dance. I left dance after high school to attend college. I graduated from MTSU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Textiles, Merchandising and Design. After graduation I attended Paul Mitchell the School and got my cosmetology license. I am a hair stylist in Franklin, where I live with my hubby and our precious son.

I have been taking classes at {r}eleve one for about a year now. I started soon after the birth of my son. Wanting to get back to the pre baby me, physically and emotionally, I was in search of something different. Something that would not only get me in shape but something that would help me feel good about myself again. Well that is exactly what I found. I will never forget my first class at {r}eleve. I walked in feeling scared and nervous; I left feeling like a rock star!! Everyone from the instructors to the clients were so sweet to me. The instructor took time to explain everything to me and was genuinely excited for me to be there. I knew right alway that it felt like home.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to join this amazing team/family. I am looking forward in helping others find the light within them that sometimes gets lost. That is exactly what {r}eleve has done for me.
