Renee’s love for group fitness began at the age of fourteen, working out at a small studio in Southern California that was owned by her best friend’s mother. At age seventeen she began teaching aerobics at that same studio, loving the community of women that gathered there. Group fitness continued to be a part of her journey throughout many moves across the country in her young married life. The spirit of a table set for community and to be an encourager to other women has always been a love language for Renee. In 2010, she moved from the Seattle area to Franklin Tennessee with her husband and three children. She received her certification in Zumba Gold and worked for one year teaching at the Cool Springs YMCA. Renee obtained her certification in Tae Bo in 2010 and continued to grow in her teaching skills by leading Tae Bo Advanced and Tae Bo Extreme. Renee led this powerful form of movement in the Franklin area for six years. Renee came to {r}eleve’ one in 2014 in search of a class to lengthen and strengthen as to compliment the demands of teaching other forms of fitness. She immediately connected with the community of women and has been a part of the studio ever since. In 2015 she received her certification in YogaFit and led this style of movement in the Franklin area for a year and a half. She is beyond thrilled to be a part of THE pow{h]er METHOD teaching staff here at {r}eleve’ and will continue to be a forever student. Her deepest desire is to live her life fully in the way God designed her to be.

Amy P.
Instructor
Amy found her way to {r}elevé one in February of 2016 while looking for something new in her exercise world. Accustomed to in-home workouts, Amy never dreamed that she would love a group fitness experience. Throughout her life, Amy was active in softball, track and even played rugby at a collegiate level. Exercise and nutrition was crucial to Amy’s healing journey as she fought through Lyme’s disease in her early 30’s. Fitness that focused on mind, body, and spirt was a new concept to her, though Amy found that {r}elevé was like an oasis where you could be you! A community that encouraged and allowed you to push yourself and yet take care of yourself no matter who you or what you need. Amy is a native Tennessean, received her bachelors in religion from Tufts University, and was ordained through Messenger Fellowship in 2014. She lives in Franklin with her husband Caleb, and their two children Noah and Hudson. Our beloved Amy is certified in barre n' pow{h}er and tap n' pow{h}er and her greatest delight is encouraging women to become all that God created them to be.
