Amy Philips
Instructor
Amy found her way to {r}elevé one in February of 2016 while looking for something new in her exercise world. Accustomed to in-home workouts, Amy never dreamed that she would love a group fitness experience. Throughout her life, Amy was active in softball, track and even played rugby at a collegiate level. Exercise and nutrition was crucial to Amy’s healing journey as she fought through Lyme’s disease in her early 30’s. Fitness that focused on mind, body, and spirt was a new concept to her, though Amy found that {r}elevé was like an oasis where you could be you! A community that encouraged and allowed you to push yourself and yet take care of yourself no matter who you or what you need. Amy is a native Tennessean, received her bachelors in religion from Tufts University, and was ordained through Messenger Fellowship in 2014. She lives in Franklin with her husband Caleb, and their two children Noah and Hudson. Our beloved Amy is certified in barre n' pow{h}er and tap n' pow{h}er and her greatest delight is encouraging women to become all that God created them to be.

Emory
Instructor
Emory is no ordinary dancer. Throughout her lifetime she has always been a mover and shaker even when she was just 4 years old when she would use dance to communicate prayer and connection to Jesus. Over the years, she has developed a love for the art of movement for the inner person extended to the body's physical expression in excellence and true freedom. Her dedication to seeing others encounter more freedom is not only evident through her training in dance, but also her servanthood in seeing the elderly regain their freedom of movement through physical therapy. She has been a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for the past 10 years, and has worked in various settings helping adults recover from various injuries and diseases. She fell in love with the pow{h}er method 3 months post-partum in 2019, and regained strength and appreciation for the Releve One community that empowers her to be a more fulfilled wife and mother.

Susannah
Instructor
Susannah Petrounov’s love for ballet began at the tender age of three. She fondly remembers her mother writing “R” & “L” on the bottom of her ballet shoes so she could plop down in the middle of class and find out which foot the teacher was asking her to point exactly. She continued her training in ballet right up until the age of thirteen when she began studying ballet on pointe. At the age of sixteen, Susannah was introduced to ballet & dance as worship in church. This was the moment when the Lord began to stir in her a passion to seek His face through movement, a passion that continues to this day. In the aisles or on the stage at church, Susannah will be found moving for the Lord and only for His pleasure. Susannah found Releve One Dance Studios in 2018 through the encouragement of friends from church. She found healing for her body and soul on the mat during Glow Flow, Barre’n Pow{her}, Tap’n Pow{her}, and especially Praise’n Pow{her}. It was a natural transition for her to take the Praise’n Pow{her} Discipleship Training to enable her to teach Praise’n Pow{her} and serve with Pow{her} 432 Ministries to bring freedom through movement to other women. Susannah is the principal designer of Petrounov Studio, a residential design and architecture studio in Franklin, TN. Her husband Alex is her biggest fan, and her two boys, Simeon & Liam, get super embarrassed whenever she breaks out in dance just about anywhere.

Over the years, Diane has found renewed strength in body, mind, and spirit in her time as a client at {r}elevé one, and is excited to help others grow in the same way.
